$450 OBO built like a Sherman tank! Cycles 00 and buckshot flawlessly. Thiese guns were used as riot/cruiser weapons.
Lots more pictures available it will only let me post one here can email. For sale Smith & Wesson 3000 Police Riot w/i police cylinder 12 gauge shotgun. 18" barrel, Choate brand synthetic black stock, made specifically for the Smith & Wesson 3000 with integrated sling swivels. Black synthetic choate police stock with Smith & Wesson logo original. Solid steel receiver, flawless loading and cycling. This is my go-to shotgun for home defense and the one I keep at the ready.
Police edition has a front bead sight. True cylinder Bore. According to the person I bought from it was used in Law enforcement from the previous owner, a deputy sheriff. Piece of LE history.
These are hard to find, great CQB/home defense/ TEOTWAWKI weapon. Design is similar to a Remington 870 but has none butif the cycling issues an 870 has with quick reloading. Made with stronger, thicker better materials, better milling and better built. Built like a tank.

I love shooting this gun I just need to get a gun with a longer barrel for hunting and more competitive skeet shooting.that's the only reason I'm selling it I hate to see it go as it is made with thick solid steel parts that are super tough built like a tank.I clean my guns every time I shoot them and every five or six times I don't just field-strip them I disassemble them and clean them to ensure longevity.
Reviews
" Howa of Japan introduced the shotgun for Smith & Wesson and the quality was top level. The Model 3000 competed with the venerable Remington 870 and in many respects surpassed the famous workhorse. It was available in both police and sporting models. "
Everything mimics 870, except that nearly every part is thicker and made out of solid steel (including the ejector which is a piece of milled steel not sticking out too much from the receiver). No rust anywhere, just some honest wear. Looks like an ex LE shotgun. Parkerized and 20" barrel (mirror shine inside with very nice, mirror polished chamber).
"It was like a very nicely made Remington 870. And I mean in comparison to the 870s of that era, not the utter garbage Remington pukes out these days."
