Many of the World Long Range Shooting Championships have been won by Lee Saver and by the Rifles he designed and built at his shops in Lamar Missouri. Lee Shaver completely customized this 1869 reproduction Sharps Rifle for competitive shooting. Components of this rifle were redesigned and tuned for accuracy including:
28” Octagonal Barrel – precision 45/100 chambered, precision hand lapped, draw-file flats, crowned, rust blued.
Receiver – matched to barrel, redesigned breech block & lever, components tuned for reliability, color case-hardened.
Double Set Triggers, Hammer, Firing Pin Assembly, Breech Block Lever all redesigned, precision tuned and refinished.
