This safe was originally owned by Claire Lee Chennault, Captain of the Flying Tigers.

The Flying Tigers, was composed of pilots from the United States Army Air Corps (USAAC), Navy (USN), and Marine Corps (USMC), recruited under President Franklin Roosevelt's authority before Pearl Harbor and commanded by Claire Lee Chennault. Their Curtis P-40B Warhawk aircraft, marked with Chinese colors, flew under American control. Their mission was to bomb Japan and defend the Republic of China, but many delays meant the AVG flew in combat after the US and Japan declared war.

I knew him and his family and after his departure his wife called me and offered me to buy this safe from his home in Riverside and I jumped for it. It is is great shape, fully functional and now available for sale again. The interior shelving can be modified according to your needs and preferences. It is agreat bargain at this price and will serve its new owner for many decades with "flying colors". This listing is for the safe only - all those items inside it in the pictures are not included.
