Made only briefly in the mid-1950's (1955-'59), mossbergs first venture into a pump shotgun, this is a compensated, box magazine, 2 3/4" pump action shotgun with easy to use variable choke, This was a design way ahead of its time. It wasn't on the market long for that reason, and they were NEVER common. Bore is superb. 28" barrel (27 1/16" ahead of receiver). The variable choke is one of the easiest I've seen to check out and use.
