45-70 Rifles and Ammo

Lots of 45-70 rifles and ammo for sale, CHEAP! if the DNR current list of NOT ALLOWED cartridges for deer hunting becomes law next year. Look up Iowa House Bill 716. DNR is asking for public input emailed to "wildlife@dnr.iowa.gov" before Dec.14th. This is just plain crazy stuff! The Iowa approved modern 12 gauge shotgun and muzzle loader sabots are superior in velocity and energy to the typical 45-70 hunting loads. The data is all out there on the manufacturers websites. Please send your input to the web address and let the DNR know we expect them to do similar research before making and/or changing the rules.
