This British Light Dragoon made by Barnett Gunsmithing was issued to British seamen between 1764 and 1820. It is in very good condition and only suffers from a broken hammer spring. It is .54 caliber with 2 proof marks: a Crown-V which means "View" - barrel inspected inside and out, and a Crown-CP which means that it was loaded and proof-fired 5 consecutive times successfully.
This pistol is marked BARNETT on the lock plate, has a 9" barrel, is stocked in walnut and trimmed in brass. This antique has a warm patina and is a typical trade pistol from the period noted above.
Offering this special piece of history to serious collectors for $1100.
