Springfield 30/40 Krag DCM-NRA carbine is a variant of the Krag rifle made by Benica Armory.They cut the barrel down to 22" added M1901 rear sights and M1903 banded front sights. They were sold to NRA members only through Director of Civilian Marksmanship in the late 1920s. Read about it in 2013 Gun Digest The Last Krag.
