Reminton 870 Express (vintage classic))

This is Remington’s 1980 Vintage classic All-American pump gun that brings hunters the best of all worlds. Beneath the no-nonsense, ready-for-work exterior of the Vintage Model 870 Express lies “the exact same quality, precision, and dependability” that you'll find in the legendary Model 870 Wingmaster®.

As for the issue of the choke. All 870 Express shotguns come with screw in choke tubes ever since they were introduced back in the 90's. Most of the time the 870 Express comes with one choke tube and you have to purchase any other tubes you want. You can buy separate choke tubes for turkey, coyote, etc. They just screw on and off.

Like all Model 870 shotguns, this workhorse features a receiver milled from a solid billet of steel for maximum strength and reliability. Best of all the silky-smooth twin action bars prevent binding and twisting so that you'll always have the chance to get off a second shot unlike the new 870s which are having extraction problems and are cheaply made. The 870 is appropriately made for the hunt and not for the wall and the number one shotgun of all time! (over 10 million sold as of 2009) …this shotgun sports a non-reflective flat-black matte metalwork, and a checkered laminate stock and fore-end. The 12 gauge features the 28-inch vent-rib barrel with a Modified Rem™ Choke and single bead sight for precision shooting.

It’s solid, dependable action makes it one of America’s all-time favorite, (just research the gun on Youtube to learn more) making it the most advanced, well-rounded family of pump shotguns around. Do your research and you will see that I’m on the up-and-up here. This shotgun’s superiority is a matter of true rugged dependability, great pointing characteristics and versatility. In fact, the Model 870 has been the standard for slide-action performance for almost 60 years!

This gun is truly a work of outstanding craftsmanship and a real beauty. The new Remingtons which are no longer made by Remington are NO WHERE NEAR as nice or as well built anymore. Selling because I prefer 20 gauge over 12 gauge. Thus thinning out my collection.
