The model 55 is a semi-automatic, single-shot 22 S -L OR LR that fired from an open bolt. Cartridges are loaded through a ramped gate on top of the receiver which activates the auto-safety. When the rifle is fired, the spent case is dropped out the bottom and the bolt locks to the rear, ready for a fresh round. This one has some nicks and bruises but should be a great little gun
