Description for Item:

Savage 243 Winchester caliber Model 99 "A" with a Cabelas 2x7 variable scope. This gun has had a recoil pad added, they did a good job of installing the pad and the LOP is 13 inchs over the pad. This gun is in excellent condition with 95% or more of the original finish.The bore and action are in excellent condition, no rust or blemishies. The scope is like new, it has the Duplex crosshairs, its mounted on the gun in Weaver style mounts, all like new. This is a later model 99A, serial number B498082, it has the top tang safety like all the newer A models. These were only made from 1981 to 1991, it has the cartridge counter, its steel rather than brass like the old ones. This is a very solid rifle in excellent condition, i'm not that familiar with the scope but the gun is a nice one.Thanks for looking at my item!, Please feel free to email any questions you may have.
