I am selling a very nice Springfield Model 1903 made in 1910 with original SA 1-10 dated barrel. Rifle is in a very nice finger groove stock. The barrel is in amazing condition with a bright shiny bore and strong lands and grooves (almost looks new). Ladder sights, mag cutoff, and many early features. All milled parts. Was refinished (parkerized), presumably WWII or possibly more recent and received a Hatcher gas relief hole on the left side (common practice during WWII)
This is a low serial number Springfield which some recommend not to fire due to heat treatment procedures prior to SN 900,000. New buyer should educate themselves prior to attempting to fire. Should also be inspected by a competent gunsmith before firing. Action cycles great and operates great, I have personally fired the weapon with no issues.
I will meet in the Cleveland, TN area only, buyer must have a valid TN DL or HCP preferred. Must be legally eligible to purchase and own a firearm.
Not looking for any trades, cash only.
