Up for Auction is a VERY RARE Vietnam Era US Army/USMC MP Leather Belt Holster for the Colt M1911/M1911A1 .45acp Pistol. The holster is in AS NEW Condition. It is marked Bianchi M66.
This is an experimental holster made by Bianchi under contract with the US Government. It was designed to be an ambidextrous hoster. It has belt loops on both sides of the holster. This holster was introduced in 1970 and was used through the end of the war for Military Police units of the US Army.
