Collectors item, Elliott type (Winchester) leather case. Completely restored. Open at both ends. Reduced to $450. Marked with Winchester (hard to read) logo and MADE IN THE USA. Patent date Dec 7 07 and 30 on front strap (probably for length of barrel). Great way to keep your Winchester original and add to the value. $450 OBO.
This classic case is truly hard-sided, not just leather shaped in this style, offering excellent protection and convenience. Manufactured with genuine high quality leather and harness leather trim, it has solid brass hardware and is fully lined. The handles and keepers are doubly reinforced for a long life. Inculdes leather carry strap.
Winchesters 1931 catalog page 33 describes it a Model 35W ___Winchester take-down shotgun or rifle case, straight line style, hand sewed. Made of heavy russett leather, maroon flannel lining. Case opens at both ends with hinged partitions. Case has sling and handle. Brass lock, buckle and brass trimmings throughout. Made in 32 inch size. Very rare.
