This lever-action enables the use of pointed-tip, long range ammo with an innovative and very smooth geared action, driving a chromed steel bolt with a 6-lug rotary-head into the chamber for a strong and reliable lock-up, similar to a bolt-action. Free-floated and tapered, 20" sporter barrel with recessed crown for increased accuracy / steel, flush-fitting, detachable 4 round magazine / in-hammer, sliding transfer bar safety system / and premium American walnut stock with flawless, wrap-around checkering. Also, the mounted and zeroed-in, Bushnell Trophy XLT 3-9x40mm DOA600 scope with flip-up lens caps is included.

Factory inspected on March 31, 2017 and purchased brand new in-box on May 8th. Bore-sighted and fine-tuned at the range with 20 rounds Federal Premium 168 grain Sierra MatchKing BTHP ammo. Highly accurate with a 1.20" 5-shot grouping at 100 yards. Very low recoil and the action couldn't possibly be any smoother! Although I like and am very impressed with this excellent rifle, it is my first .308 and I've decided to sell it in exchange for the more powerful .45-70 lever-action.
