WE HAVE (1) GOVT A2 LEFT IN OUR INVENTORY. In the early days, Bushmaster Firearms was based out of Windham, Maine. It was known for its high quality rifles and supplying Government Contracts. The Company would later be sold to a large Capital Management Group and the Gunsmiths that built the Bushmaster Legend would be laid-off, and all operations moved across country. It was at this moment that the Bushmaster Name began to take a decline as the quality of produced firearms was no longer living up to the reputation that the Windham Gunsmiths had built. After the acquisition, the now unemployed Windham Gunsmiths decided to take up where they left off and form a new Company, Windham Weaponry. This new Company would re-employ the talented gunsmiths that made Bushmaster Firearms great and reintroduce the high quality mil-spec Rifles the consumers had been missing. Windham has now released their 20" GOVT A2 Model. This Rifle is built to the Government's Military Specification for the M16A2, and comes with removable carrying handle mounted to the flat top receiver. Additionally, the gunsmiths at Windham Weaponry are so confident in the quality of their product, each rifle comes with a life-time warranty. *This rifle has a 20" Chrome-lined barrel with a 1/7 twist.
