• Flat bolt marked with a SG on side.
• Barrel marked a circle W behind front sight , Z on left side , stamped small bomb on right , 0 top center in front of receiver…
• Front sight marked R.I.A.
• Rear sight marked J.A.O. 7160060..
• Barrel band / bayonet lug marked S I ..
• Operating Slide marked with an A ..
• Recoil plate marked PJ …

• Hammer marked with H..
• Trigger group marked on right side back S’ G’ ..
• Right side mag. area J and what looks like a stamped small bomb.
• Rotary Safety marked J with a circle around something I cannot make out??

• Stock is walnut. Marked with cartouche BA over JPL inside a squire , a J and small circled crossed cannons inside the sling notch ,
• A circle P on bottom of the pistol grip and a single H or a B depending on how the light hits it !!!
• Oiler is marked S I on bottom ..
• Sling is old with brass ends.
• 2 - Aftermarket mag. pouchs for 2 – 15 round mags. 1- marked KADIN 1943..

with 145 rounds of .30 cal. Carbine Aguila 110gr. FMJ round nosed ammo, brass cased.

The BA indicates that it is a Benecia Armory rebuild, John P. Lewis Inspector/Ordnance Officer In-Charge. No Import marks. Solid example of old school wood and steel. Described to the best of my knowledge.Parkerizing is actually in pretty good shape. This rifle doesn’t seem to have seen much use after its last refurbishment.
