Tracking Point XS3 300 Win Mag Surgeon McMillan

TRACKING POINT is a Precision Guided Firearm (PGF), and the scope / XactSystem is manufactured by a company in Austin, Texas. The system is built onto a Surgeon rifle. Surgeon Rifles is only about 20 miles from Darc Ops Armory in central Oklahoma. Surgeon told us about Tracking Point last fall before they began advertising and before they went live with their website and product at SHOT show, and we actually pre-ordered 5 of the first units. We’ve ordered more TrackingPoint rifles since then. When we got our reservation cards in October, we had card numbers in the low 30's. When they gave us a few more at SHOT in January 2013, the card numbers were in the 1350's.

TRACKING POINT RIFLE SYSTEM!!

The Tracking Point XactSystem enables you to track, tag, and hit targets at extreme ranges. The TP system calculates the following: range, pressure, drop, temp., relative humidity, spin drift, muzzle velocity, direction, barrel length and twist, cant, lock time, inclination, ballistic coefficient, drag coefficient.
The only manual input is wind calculation. Essentially you lock on to your target with the Tag button, the TP persistently tracks your target as it moves, then when you pull the trigger the rifle won't fire until you're on target, then the XactSystem guides your shot on target. The ballistic computer in the TP scope accounts for all range and environmental factors, and it adjusts the reticle position accordingly to hit the tagged target.

It comes as a complete firing system in a custom hard case with 200 rounds of XactShot ammo, plus an iPad pre-loaded with Tracking Point apps and all the batteries, chargers, mags, cleaning supplies, and instructions you need.

XS3 .300 WIN MAG

The Tracking Point XS3 .300 Winchester Magnum fires 190 grain Barnes LRX projectiles loaded by Barnes Bullets. The XS1 has a 22” Krieger threaded barrel with a thread protector, a Surgeon long action in a McMillan A5 stock, Harris bipod and Larue QD mount.

The XS3 Precision Guided Firearm is our smallest and lightest system, optimized for hunting and terminal effects on game with the 190 gr. LRX round. A bolt-action, .300 Winchester Magnum Surgeon™ action powers each shot from the long range hunting rifle. The 22-inch, Krieger™ cut-rifled Palma profile barrel is fitted in a McMillan A5 chassis. The XS3 delivers an effective range of Tag Track Xact (TTX) to 850 yards. Its parallax-free zoom is 6 to 30X. The scope streams video to Android and iOS smart phones and tablets.
