Westernfield Model 36 16ga Pump

This Westernfield 36 16ga pump shotgun is quite the delight to shoot! It hold 5+1 rounds, and it has slamfire! I've shot plenty of modern loads through this gun, and it is totally safe. It's one of those golden oldie shotguns that's just so much fun to hold, look at and shoot with your friends, or by yourself in the woods this deer season!

The hand-checkering on the nice dark old wood is not worn down. That, combined with the perfect bore, tell me that this gun has not been shot a ton over the years. It shows normal wear for it's age, but it has been taken care of, and is truly a beautiful old gun.

I don't remember what the choke on this gun is. I looked it up once, and it took me forever to find out what it was. I do know that I have shot plenty of slugs through it just fine, and also spreadshots that leave a nice pattern. My guess is that it is a modified choke.

The trigger on this gun is nice and light, too. Not a hair trigger, but nice and light, just how I like it on a shotgun. It pulls easy and goes "bang" right when you expect it to.

This is just a beautiful gun and all around great shooter! If you are looking for a sweet, beautiful shooter that brings you back to better days in our Country, I really think that this one would do the trick for you, just as it has for my sons and I. Deer season is on our heels. This would make a great choice if you need a gun to knock your deer down.
