Colt 1911 dated from 1918 (verified with Colt) marked with 'United States Property' on the frame. At some point, the frame was fitted to a commander upper dated from 1949-1950. It has been re-blued. Only shot a few times and had a failure to eject. Not sure how good of a shooter it is, but it's a nice piece of history.
