Here is the original Winchester Repeating Arms Company Model 1887 lever action 12 gauge shotgun. The patent dates as listed on the frame under the lever are as follows: Feb 16th and July 20th 1886. The left side of the receiver has the eligant WRA Co. monogram as from the factory. Original metal checkered buttplate intact as well. . Keep in mind the gun is over 122 years old and yet still functionally sound! The barrel length is just under 28 inches. The 1887 has become a desired gun of the Cowboy Action Shooters. This is also the gun used for the first Terminator movie (that model was modified for the movie) for what that is worth. A rare gun originally designed by J.M. Browning. Serial # 619xx
