The British adopted the Sterling in 1953 to replace the aging Sten Gun from WW II. The British Sterling was subsequently adopted by 90 countries. The Sterling has been referred to as one of the best SMG’s ever made and has proven itself worldwide to be a compact and reliable firearm that packs a punch.
The Sterling Semi-Auto (SA) version is designed to follow in its predecessors footsteps. Its receiver and barrel are American made and assembled to exacting tolerances using a Sterling parts kit. This Semi-Auto version has a crinkle style painted finish just like the original.
This Sterling Mark 4 (L2A3) Semi-Auto is chambered for the common 9X19mm (parabellum) cartridge. Has a 16.25" barrel with a ventilated shroud. The Sterling has a collapsible folding stock and is about 26" in length with stock folded and 35" with the stock extended. Rear sight is a folding aperture with 100 and 200 yard settings used in conjunction with a post type front sight. The trigger pack has a paddle style safety lever. Comes with one original Sterling 34 round magazine and a user’s manual. Condition is excellent. Cash only.
