Marlin 1893 30-30/Oct barrel/Made in 1901

I have for sale a Marlin model 1893 in 30-30 caliber, with octagon barrel.
It is a pretty tight gun yet though most of the bluing and case hardening is
gone-only traces of the case hardening is still visible under the lever.
This gun has the normal wear from being carried a lot. It looks to have
the original sights, but the wood stock does have 2 screws where a repair
was made. The forearm looks pretty good for the age except at some point
someone put tape around it-the adhesive is left but should come off-I have
not tried to clean it. The old gun seems to work very good. As with any
gun, you should have a gunsmith check it out before shooting.
