1968 Remington Woodsmaster Model 742 30-06

I have for sale a nice 1968 Remington Woodsmaster 742 30-6. I am saying it's a 68 based off the barrel marks checked with the Remington mark decoder. Oct/68. 22" barrel. I traded a dirt bike for it to take a deer this season, but I no longer have the time to put it to use. So here it is. It is in great condition for the year with a lot of character. Really handsome rifle in my opinion. I've always heard this model is trusted as far as you can throw it, very solid deer rifle. The guy I got it from said he got it from his dad, who was the original owner. He kept the scope in case you're wondering if I have it. I wish he left it with the original too. He said that between the two of them they had dropped nearly 50 deer with it with no issues. I haven't shot it to where I'm able to personally say it doesn't jam like some similar models have been known to, but I asked him if it had jammed on them and he said he had never seen it jam. The rifle is in overall great shape. No splits or cracks in the stock. No pitting or rust in the bore or the chamber. The clip has a very small spot with minor surface rust, I barely noticed it. Easily fixable if you have any experience with gun care. It's a great old rifle that has been taken care of for nearly 50 years and is ready for another 50 years of use and love.
