++++ Remington 700 308 - M40 Style Sniper Rifle

I have a custom built Remington 700 in 308. This rifle was built to resemble the M40 Sniper Rifle. Tactical Armz in Springfield did the gunsmithing, headspacing, and barrel work (I picked it up December 30th, 2013). This rifle was built to be my 1000 yard target rifle.

- Remington 700 Short Action
- M40 style stock with V-Block Aluminum bedding block (rear tang, pillar, and recoil lug glass bedded)
*modified to accept Remington 700 4 round magazines (comes with 1).
- 40x trigger adjusted by a gunsmith to break clean at 2.5 lbs
- Badger Ordinance M40 Recoil Lug - thicker for more accuracy and less recoil
- 26" Remington Bull barrel - 1:12 twist with target crown
- Weaver 20MOA Base with recoil lug - takes shock out of action screws
- Caldwell Pivot Bipod 6"-9" with locking ladder legs
- KRG Bolt knob

I was shooting Federal Gold Medal Match and getting 3/4" groups at 100 Meters (110 Yards).
