This is a WW1, S&W 1917, 45ACP. Blue is somewhat worn on the barrel sides, but a lot remaining on the frame and cylinder. I would guess it at about 75%+ finish remaining. No rust or damage, however there is a scratch, on each side, right at what looks like would be the top edge of target grips (you can see it in the photo) it has the original grips, I assume someone had temporary target grips on it. Rifling looks good, no rust or pitting in the bore. Sharp GHS stamp, "UNITED STATES PROPERTY" markings and address markings are very sharp and clear.. S&W D.A. 45 on the left side of the barrel shows a little wear from holster. Serial #27327. Quite a bit of case color remaining on hammer and trigger. Screw slots not badly marred. Asking $875.00 cash. I will not ship. Dave 573-714-4143
