Super nice reproduction of an old world Spanish blackpowder dueling/sharpshooting pistol. Made by Jukar in 1980, this is a rare model not seen around very often. The original manufacturer's certificate from Spain proves its origin.
This piece comes in a nice, locking rosewood case as a full kit, with a brass powder horn, ramrod, ball mould, and cap holder. From the cap to the end of the barrel is 10 inches, so it is a big boy designed for some serious shooting. The barrel is straight-grooved (not rifled, not smooth). I'm not sure about the finish. It may be polished steel or stainless. The wood grips and breech might be walnut or possibly cherry.
I have never fired it, so I can not vouch for its operation. However, the trigger and cocking mechanism work perfectly. My novice, visual inspection shows no damage, rust, cracks, or other areas of notable concern.
Asking $350, but will consider reasonable offers.
