M1 Garand HRA, serial number 4797xxx, from approx July 1954 . Has correct barrel, which is marked HRA 7-54. MW -1 ½. TE- 2. Bore is bright and shiny. Chamber is still in the white. HRA buttstock with faint 3/8†DAS cartouche still barely visible. Buttstock has the large “back porch†behind receiver which is typical of HRA production buttstock. Has “P†in square on pistol grip. There is a rebuild “RRAD†stamp on left rear buttstock. Wood stock set has various dents, scratches and marks from wear/use. HRA bolt, HRA op rod, HRA trigger housing (this HRA trigger housings is one of the early rare ones made by Hart with the bowlegged "H"), HRA hammer, HRA safety , HRA windage knob, HRA elevation knob, proper unnumbered follower, proper notched bullet guide, gas plug is stamped “HRA†with an “oâ€, front sight measures .745†which should be HRA. Includes a nice military sling, faintly stamped “MRT†not able to make out date . I have fired rifle and it functions correctly. No import marks. 30-06 caliber.
