Savage Sporter .32-20 w/ammunition & reload supplies

Savage Model 23C Sporter bolt action rifle in .32-20 caliber. The last patent date shown on the barrel is November 20, 1917 (likely 1920s? vintage) with a serial number of 98xxx - a rifle my dad owned for more than 30 years.

The rifle is in nice shape overall with an excellent bore and in perfect working condition. The bluing has gone to mostly plum, the stock shows field marks and has two hairline cracks - one at the fore end and another in the grip area (the grip area hairline is small enough that it is difficult to show it in a photo). The stock has been this way - and used this way - since my father bought it. The receiver was tapped for a scope mount before my father got it. It has a Williams peep sight, the original "Savage Quality" Indian-head logo buttplate and one original 5-round magazine.
