IH M1 Garand

For sale is a nice postage stamp IH M1 Garand built in 1953 . It has all original IH parts including its excellent LMR barrel except for the complete birch bedded stock group which appears to have been done by the US army in the late 50's-early 60's. It has the typical army brown bedding with the bedded and screwed unitized upper stocks and it is lacquer coated to prevent warpage in the weather. In addition the throat has been lengthened to allow reliable use of match ammo. The gun comes with a M1 sling, 2 en-bloc clips and a M1 manual. Cost is $1900.00 FTF sale in SE Lapeer Co. For an additional $250.00 I will add in a service pack which includes a USGI M1 bayonet and M7 Scabbard, a complete USGI buttstock cleaning kit, a bandoleer full (48rds) of M2 ball ammo on 6 en-bloc clips inside 6 cardboards, a BFA and a spare good used op-rod spring.
