WTS Thompson Center HAWKEN .50 caliber muzzleloader rifle. Metal, wood and bore
in Excellent condition. 15/16" X 28" octagon barrel, with 1:48 twist and fitted with
factory sights, fully adjustable open rear with bead front; triggers fully adjustable, function either as double set or single stage; solid brass trigger guard, patch box, butt plate and for end cap. Stock made of select American Walnut; contoured cheek piece on left hand side.
This is the HAWKEN made famous in the Robert Redford movie "Jerimiah Johnson", where it stated "Hawken- you couldn't go no better!" This Hawken captures the romance of the
early 1800's, but made to standards of quality unheard of back then.
