Russian Molot VEPR .308 Win AK rifle with Tapco tri-rail forend and UTG Pro rail covers, Hogue pistol grip, UTG Pro collapsible stock, and muzzle break. These are some of the finest AK rifles available and are no longer allowed to be imported from Russia due to recent law changes. With the current political pressure for gun control and our tensions with Russia it is unlikely that more of these rifles will be coming into the country anytime soon.
Extras include original box and manual, cleaning kit, factory removable side scope mount, Leupold scope rings, Bushnell Banner Dusk and Dawn 3-9x40 red/green lighted reticle scope, Limbsaver recoil pad, sling, and 3 magazines (5, 10, and 20 round). I am asking $975 cash or trade for everything or $875 cash or trade without the scope and rings.

The semi-auto VEPR hunting rifles are designed for medium-sized and big games. AK-based design and construction of the rifles provides a reliable operation of parts and mechanisms as well as high-grade shooting in various weather and climatic conditions. The rifles can be used in a wide temperature range (from -50 F up to +120 F).

VEPR's parts are manufactured using the same equipment as the very well known lightweight RPK machinegun. Its extra heavy duty receiver (50% stronger than a regular AK) and 20.5 inch hammer-forged barrel provide much better accuracy and durability. A chrome-lined barrel with chrome-lined chamber and bore make these rifles very different from other AK-based rifles available in the US market

The rifles come with adjustable open sighting devices and a rail for a scope mount attached to the left side of the receiver. This allows for shooting from the rifle with an open sight without taking away a riflescope.

All VEPR rifles go through a robust quality control and inspection and each new rifle has its own quality control acceptance certification from the factory, included in the manual.
