This is the original model type (PX9105MLP) that Springfield entered into military trials competing to become the Marine Corps' new service pistol. It was a little more expensive than the MC Operators that are sold today. This one was made in America with the highly sough-after "NM" serial number. It is a very smooth and accurate shooter. The trigger is very short and crisp and breaks cleanly at around 4 lbs.
