Springfield Armory Krag-Jorgensen 30-40cal Model 1898 drilled and tapped to accept side mounted scope plate. Comes with 100rd Ammo. That is over $160.00 worth of ammo at current prices. This gun is a piece of history. This was the first new weapon for the US Military since the Civil war. It was issued in 1898 for the Spanish American War. It took 5 rds through a loading gate on the side of the rifle. You opened and dumped 5 rds into it. Or you could load it from bolt and have a single shot rifle which is what some of our generals wanted the troops to do.. The barrel on this gun is 30 inches long and over all length is 46 inches. Not a little gun. The third picture is the loading gate open.
