Winchester Model 1873 Rifle .22LR

Winchester Model 1873 rifle. Caliber .22 long. Serial number 2631xxB. Antique manufactured in 1888. 24" octagon barrel with a shootable bore that has darkened but still shows strong rifling. Rate the original blue finish about 80% because the magazine tube is turning plum. Most finish remains on the wood which is in excellent condition except for one small crack by the toe that appears to have been glued long ago. Barrel sights appear original but can not say for sure. I do know that the tang sight is probably the rarest that Winchester produced. Considering only 1100 .22 cal 1873 manufacture and the low percentage that were ordered with any type of tang sight. The only flaw is a screw is missing from the upper tang. Super condition 128 year old antique with the rarest sight.
