COLT ~ GOLD CUP NATIONAL MATCH

NO RESERVE!! Here's a Colt Gold Cup National Match that's in excellent condition. The Gold Cup National Match is the competition/target version of the famous 1911/Government Model line and was touted as the most accurate "out of the box" pistol available. Chambered for the .45 ACP it had some features that were unique at the time. These features included the flat top slide with angled cocking serrations, adjustable rear sight, improved ejection port, NM barrel, specially fitted barrel bushing, conical recoil spring plug, special trigger, etc. This pistol is in excellent overall condition. There are almost no handling marks, but there are a few small rust freckles on the edge of the slide stop. I'd grade the blue finish at about 99% overall. The original checkered walnut grips feature gold Colt medallions and are in excellent shape without cracks, chips or significant wear. The mechanics appear to be in perfect working order and the bore is excellent, as new. This fine pistol comes in an original National Match box with one later production factory magazine, Gold Cup instruction sheet, a Gov't Model instruction sheet, bushing wrench, and sight adjustment tool.
