It has a 22 inch barrel, walnut stock, iron sights Introduced in 1955, sixty years after Winchester's last all-new lever-action design, the Model 88 was unlike any previous lever action; it was really a lever-bolt hybrid. A short-throw under-lever operated a three-lug rotating bolt, and rounds were fed vertically from a detachable box magazine. This model 88 is in .308 caliber and with a 22" barrel.,
